On the Colors of human Nature
By Andy Brown
Red
Blue
Red
I remember now,
Yes, you looked so beautiful
Red lips
Blue eyes
So blue
We danced that night,
If I remember correctly
What a dance it was
I think you screamed
I remember pulling my fist away
Your eyes looked so blue
My knuckles were red
Red
Blue
Red
Yes, I do remember
Blue
I can’t exactly explain it
You make me feel in such a way that
Nobody else
Makes me feel
I can always tell that when I’m feeling blue
You’ll always be there
Your face in my hands
Red
My hands…
My hands are covered in red
What have I done?
We danced last night
I remember now
My eyes were so blue from crying
Or were you crying?
Yes, you were crying
I was red
Angry
Sad
Angry
I can always tell that when I’m feeling red
You’ll always be there
My hands in your face
Angry
So angry
You make me so angry
Sometimes I can’t control myself
And I just
Blue
Red
Blue
I see the light now
Red
It’s coming closer
Blue
You’re screaming at me
Red
Men are knocking at the door
Blue
You’re pointing at me
Red
And suddenly, I don’t feel so blue
